My husband and I visited for our anniversary and had a wonderful time. So peaceful and beautiful. Plenty to do regardless of weather. You can tell the host really considered what would make people feel comfortable and at home. We appreciated the guidebook and instructions left around the cabin. The cabin and property were immaculately clean, and there was A/C in every bedroom.

This property was spectacular in every way. The house had a very nice kitchen that easily accommodated our family of 9. The beds were very comfortable – including the sleeper sofa! The game room was fun for our teenagers as well as adults. We enjoyed taking our dogs for walks to the top of the hill and the field at the top had a stunning panoramic view. Josh is quick to respond and is so pleasant to communicate with. We hated to leave and look forward to returning in the future.

Beautiful and private property located in an even more beautiful PA countryside. The cabin had so many features, and felt so cozy. The backyard and field were great for stargazing! Would definitely go back to this cabin again. Worth every penny.

We had a wonderful stay at Great Bear Cabin! Absolutely perfect for our family. Cozy and homey, but very spacious! The views from up the hill are wonderful! The weather kept us from most of our outdoor plans, but we didn’t even mind because we had so much fun just hanging out in the cabin! We all loved the game room!! The cabin was perfectly clean, private and quiet… I can’t say enough about how much we loved it! Already looking forward to coming back next summer!!

We loved our stay at the great bear cabin, the place is beautiful! The cabin was extremely clean and well organized, everything labeled. Big, well stocked kitchen as well! Very happy that it was dog friendly. Owner was very responsive which was helpful!

A lovely place to relax — quiet and secluded. The cabin itself is stylish, cozy, and very comfortable, with many thoughtful touches throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped, which makes cooking especially convenient. The firepit area is beautiful, and you can often spot wildlife around the property. Special thanks to the host — communication was fast, informative, and truly pleasant.

We needed a few days away from the our busy lives and this place was perfect. It excided our expectations of this rental. My 8 year old daughter described it as very homey and fun. There was so much to do in the house to allows us to spend quality family time together. We were able to see amazing stars right from this property. would definitely come back here again.

What can I say! This is our second year spending the week at Josh‘s cabin for a fishing trip. The location is perfect for where we need to fish. And the accommodations are outstanding. So peaceful and quiet. We will be returning every year. Can’t thank Josh enough.

We loved our stay at Josh's place in Coudersport! Check-in was super easy, and the cabin was spotless and looked exactly like the photos. All amenities that you could need were provided, even dog toys and treats. We loved relaxing in the large backyard and on the porch, hiking up the hill to the field, birdwatching, and checking out the night skies during a new moon! I would definitely stay at Josh's place again and recommend it to my friends!

We absolutely loved our stay at this cabin! It’s the perfect spot to rally friends and family. The open layout and great flow between the kitchen, dining, and living spaces make it easy for everyone to be together without feeling cramped or sectioned off from one another. The decor is tasteful and cozy, with rustic charm and modern comfort. The beds and pillows are also very comfortable. The finished basement living area is an awesome space for entertaining! Plenty of room for games, lounging, and just hanging out into the evening. It really added an extra layer of fun to our stay. I highly recommend this cabin if you’re looking for a beautiful, well-thought-out place to make memories with the people you love. Josh is a great host and has thought of every thing. We will be back again!

This is the second year that we have stayed at this beautiful log cabin in Coudersport, and again our stay was perfect for our family of seven! This year Josh added a huge game room in the basement /garage that is accessible from the house via steps or from an outside door with a keypad. The game room is beautifully done and has something for everyone; three different video games, a pool table, a shuffleboard table, a dart board, and several other games, as well as a big screen tv and comfortable seating with places to sit your beverages at every game. It was perfect to entertain our 3 grown grandsons as well as the rest of us during downtime and on the one rain day that we had during our stay. During our stay we were able to enjoy a picnic at Lyman Lake, a visit to the Austin Dam, and a day at Gary's Putter Golf. Josh is a wonderful host and is very responsive; he has the rules (which are few) clearly posted and makes everything easy and comfortable for his guest and their pets

This is the 2nd cabin I've stayed at hosted by Josh, and it didn't disappoint! Beautiful inside and out with plenty of space. An arcade, big screens, grill, fire pit with lots of wood, just so much to do. An entire station of treats and toys for my pup. 85 acres to play on, explore, view wildlife, and stargaze! I accidentally scheduled a trip for May instead of April. Not only did Josh accept my last minute booking, he also helped me get a 100% refund for the mistake when Airbnb was only going to give 50%! Incredible cabin, property, and host! My second 5-star review for Josh, and it is well-deserved! Thank you!

The Great Bear Cabin and its surroundings were absolutely gorgeous and while the photos were accurate, the atmosphere and experience of being there can not be captured in photos. The cabin is very clean, spacious, well decorated, and equipped for all your needs. We spent 3 nights here and found ourselves with plenty to do and new ideas for what can be done next time. This was the first time I've stayed at an Airbnb that actually felt like home. The hot tub was wonderful and the property is perfect for stargazing at night with plenty of wildlife to see. Josh was an incredible host who was friendly, courteous, and prompt to respond. It was a wonderful weekend away from it all. We will absolutely be returning! Thank you!
